I should have done that type of picture before I sold my Ranger. I would have been able to see the stance difference an wheel size better. Looking at your picture I can see the technology jump from miles away. And the Maverick wins on that score.

My Ranger only had 113K on it as a 1996 Model and it turned heads but now I hear their necks crack when I drive by in the Maverick. So NICE.

I owned a 1992 Ranger Oxford White XLT SuperCab from 1993 to 2008. I almost went with Oxford White for my Maverick but decided to go different with Atlas Blue this time.

Back in HS the student lot was full of beaters like mine, an 88 Maxima, or my gf brand new 02 Maxima that Mommy and Daddy bought. My friend was gifted his grandfathers early 90s baby blue Ranger. His grandfather buffed the steelies so much they shined like chrome. My love affair for the small, compact two door pickup and the original steelie look began there and was definitely a contributing factor to my purchase of the 24 Mav

Here is my 1997 Ford Ranger super cab 4x4 next to my new Maverick. I kept my Ranger as a beater, runs great & everything works or replaced. Just rusted.

I had a bunch of Rangers, but my favorite was the '93 STX SuperCab 4x4, 4.0 V6/ 5-speed manual with the sport buckets. A blast to drive, and those SEATS... have yet to find anything as comfortable on a long trip as those.

I had the same experience when a New Ranger parked behind me. It sat a bit higher (very little) and slightly longer. When I asked the guy what size bed he had he didn’t know
He very much liked my Mav, everyone seems to!

Yes. $9900 new. Only extra was power steering. I upgraded tires 20 years later.

Well I owned 3 black Rangers over the course of 33 years and a half a million miles driven combined. I love my '23 FX/4 Maverick but miss my 05 Danger Ranger dearly. The last one I was able to keep for 18 years as I retired when the truck was only 6 years old so I stopped putting so many miles on it.

Funny how everyone thinks the Maverick is a "baby" truck, but compared to the compact pickups of yesteryear they look huge.
