I had a 68 beetle that i gave to my best friends kid to go off to college. His other kids went to the same college so it ran around Pen State for 12 years. I did a vin check on it about 3 years ago anf it was still on the road. Thought about trying to contact the owner (have no idea of who it is) and trying to buy it back.

I feel that way about a horse I sold back in 2000...
