You can shop around for loans... I got 5.29% from NavyFed for 60 months.I ordered a Maverick in June and now it’s arriving in a few weeks. Interest rate is 8.99%. Good times![]()
I assume this is in the states? Our credit unions are usually just as bad of a rate as the dealerships. You can shop around for loans... I got 5.29% from NavyFed for 60 months.
Still too high if you have excellent credit. You can shop around for loans... I got 5.29% from NavyFed for 60 months.
Shit, didn't notice the Canada. Haha.I assume this is in the states? Our credit unions are usually just as bad of a rate as the dealerships.
Well yeah, I agree. I have in the 800s but interest rates are pretty shit right now.Still too high if you have excellent credit.
Absolutely ridiculous eh.I placed an order for a 2024 Maverick EB AWD on December 8th. No f'ing way am I going in at 8.99% if it gets here and the rates are still that high.
Do you have the paperwork when you ordered it? What was the interest rate then? My dealer honoured my price protection including the interest rate when I picked it up...I ordered a Maverick in June and now it’s arriving in a few weeks. Interest rate is 8.99%. Good times![]()
Credit Unions usually have the best rates (in my experience anyway).I ordered a Maverick in June and now it’s arriving in a few weeks. Interest rate is 8.99%. Good times![]()
Same. And as far as I'm concerned, Ford can keep their Maverick when it arrives if that's going to be the interest rate. The absolute "worst" percentage rate I've had to go in at for a car purchase was 3%, and that was having not the best credit at the time back in 2014.Well yeah, I agree. Completely. Ford Finance can go bite a fat log for all I care.Absolutely ridiculous eh.
Ford Credit for non promotional financing is never a bargain. Join a credit union. They are flirting with 7%. I have been watching the rates. I believe they will come back down and when they do I plan on refinancing mine for the lower rate. If you are in the Detroit area DFCU is at 6.75% if you have auto pay. Community Federal is at 6.99%.I ordered a Maverick in June and now it’s arriving in a few weeks. Interest rate is 8.99%. Good times![]()
Being realistic, highly unlikely you're going to see anywhere near 3% when your Mav arrives. Lowest rates right now are mid-high 5% with excellent credit, it's not just a Ford Credit thing. If getting a loan at over 3% right now bothers you, I'd plan on paying cash then if you want your Mav.Same.
