Maverick in automatic carwash - N gear?

Hi, Has someone taken the Maverick to an automatic carwash. My question is do you just put it in Neutral or do you have to press the L and turn it off as the manual says?
and do you take the antenna off ?

If you have to get out, connect the seat belt behind you... Easier than Ford's procedure...

I put in neutral and leave the antenna on when going through the car wash.

For all the haters out there - yes it has whirling brushes made out of course sandpaper and I don't care.
