maverick hybrid vs bronco sport

Hey guys and gals Happy New Year!!! Here in Michigan in the frozen tundra and snow belt of America just want to give a shout out to two great little vehicles. I own a 2024 Hot chilli pepper red Hybrid Maverick with Blizzak snow tires which i Love. Front wheel drive with these snow tires is amazing but ground clearance is a bit of an issue. I just drove my wifes Bronco sport outer banks with one inch more clearance and standard tires. I do believe its four whl not front wheel drive. She is spoiled with heated seats heated steering wheel also. It gets pretty good mpg also. Ford sure nailed the market with both these vehicles IMHO!!! Now we gotta fight for the bronco till the roads get plowed more lol...

I have a 24 White Lariat hybrid and my wife has a 24 Desert Sand BS outer banks. It will be the vehicle used this week as the snow hangs around mid Missouri.

With 15" of snow ground clearance was a big issue for my AWD Lariat Hybrid today. Front chin looks like Tony Montana but it plowed and clawed its way through it all.

The Bronco Sport at least isn't a cookie cutter looking CUV. If I wanted a smaller vehicle in that class, it would be strongly considered by me after 10 months with my Maverick. At least I know what to expect, and I've decided I don't need a "premium" type vehicle after having an Infiniti and BMW over a 20 year period.

I live in Maine, with a 2024 FWD Lariat hybrid. I am riding on a new set of Toyo Observe winter tread tires. I buy value tires. Not the cheapest, but I look for value and with winter tires, deep tread. I've had negative experience with top-of-the-line, pricier ones (I'm 64, plenty of vehicles and tires) that don't last. I'm semi-retired, so I don't have to drive in the snow if I don't want to. That's one reason why I went from a 2017 Frontier 4WD to my Maverick, last March. My report driving locally today, after a 14-inch snowfall: I was really pleased. It was just local driving, but I detected zero slippage. Again, I no longer have a must-drive-to job. But today's performance was heartening.

Well we don't get snow hardly ever and if we do it doesn't accumulate on the roads here in Daytona Beach area, but I have 24 Maverick Lariat Hybrid Azure Grey and my wife has 24 Bronco Sport Big Bend Azure Grey.
