Hum, that's weird. I guess i'm confused then. The thread is titled "maverick body kit". The OP talks about body kits. But you replied a short "no they don't" to a post about air designs body kit.

Here's a real wide body kit. It's not my style, but it's neat that they put in the work to make it a reality.

Body kit as pictured in the first post which consists of front bumper piece (Air Design makes one) side skirts (Air Design does not make) and a rear bumper treatment or replacement (Air design does not make)
Air Designs options are front lip, hood scoop thing, wheel well arch add ons, rear spoiler and door protectors
Which are all accessories not really a body kit

Ah yes! Thank you. My kit is a true widebody. You do not have to hack up your fenders as it's full fender replacements. The link posted above is it. I was unable to share it here as I can't afford to be a vendor.

Yep I agree, I was surprised with it being named body kit, maybe in their eyes it is, different interpretations I guess. My point was the title, OP saying body kit, and mfg product naming all matched.

Though, this is not for me.
I DO appreciate a manufacturer who does it the proper way. (as a OEM fender replacement/fit).

titled the thread “body kit” cause what I mocked up in photoshop is a full sideskirt replacement, rear bumper replacement. And a front valance. Similar to street scenes “body kits” for tonnnnsssss of other trucks.

The air design stuff mentioned previously are not body kits. It’s literally stick on accessories and exterior styling parts — not ground effects or a body kit in the slightest.

if that’s what’s deemed a body kit nowadays so be it.

I’ve been following your posts for a while now. Can’t wait to see the final evolution of this build!

I’m not the kinda person who would go for a wide body on my personal car. But I definitely loved the renderings from early on with the front valance.

I was just tryna visual an old school ground effects / BN sports drift style kit. With an extended version of the OEM panels. I lack the money and resources to make it real unfortunately..

I haven't seen an actual body kit in this thread - just AI images and adhesive accents.

Here's a real wide body kit. It's not my style, but it's neat that they put in the work to make it a reality.

edit: I think a body kit should include bumpers too, but I believe this is the best we'll see for quite some time.

No AI on any of my photos chief. I use manufacturer images + photoshop out here 🫡

basic computer skills + some imagination goes a lot farther than AI slop

Pieced up some more photoshop mockups. 3/4 front n rear views to get a better view of what my version of an extended OEM rear bumper would look like + and how the front valance could be

Maybe if I find a 3d model I'll try and make up a proper model to see what it could be + clearances on. Once I have more free time + learn how to 3d model better than I currently can
