An interesting thing happened with my Maverick order over the weekend. On Friday, the vehicle showed up in Ford Pass with the activate vehicle button just like my Bronco order. The difference is I was able to submit activation on the Maverick. On Monday, I received an email that the activation was successful. I was able to view the mileage (25mi) and fuel gauge. I also had buttons to lock / unlock the vehicle. The map showed the truck in the lot in Hermosillo (along with hundreds of others). A couple of hours later, the map showed the truck near some train rails with an additional 7 miles on the clock. About an hour later, I got an email that a factory reset was successfully completed and I lost activation to the truck. Later last night, I received an email that the truck was built and awaiting shipping. The window sticker shows no blend date like my Bronco does. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen with their order. Build week was 2/28 and the built date on the email shows 3/7.

It isn't your car yet. They are probably concerned about someone else activating it! It does need to be activated in the vehicle to work. Someone probably accidently hit the accept and then reset it when they realized they shouldn't have done it?

I figured it was probably accidental since my Bronco has already shipped and activation always fails.
