The hill start assist only holds for about a second or two before it releases. I thought it held longer than that. Naturally, there's no Hill start assist when you're heading down a hill.
Only if in reverse.
Every night backing into my drive with it seems a very slight incline, I get the assist, as I'm trying to edge to the yellow line before hitting the Rav4 spare sticking out.

So that angle I'm curious about, and what angle for Auto Hold to have the EPB to be thrown in too.

Yeah I understand what you're saying. I could turn hill hold assist off on my Buick Encore. It's nice to be able to take your foot off of the brake and just have the truck inch forward.
I could live without Hill assist.
I wonder if it can be disabled with ForScan?
