Hello all, As I am still waiting on my truck and have not had a chance to really look at the "Bed storage bin", I am not sure if this could even work. I was thinking of different ideas for what I could use the bin for. I like the air compressor ideas. I though if there was a way to turn it into a wet and dry vac., that could be kind of cool. I know its not very large. I have not found any that would just fit inside. If you could take one apart and retrofit it. I was figuring something along the lines of putting the vac. motor on top of the bottom compartment (bottom for debris). The hose and attachments might fit in the top half. Something like a wall connection like what houses with whole house vac. system would use. Has anyone else thought about this or anything along these lines? Is it just too small for this to really make any sense? Thoughts?
If the dimensions of the bottom half of the compartment are correct, it should be around 2 gal. (8.5 x 9.8 x 6.7").
Something like this might work?

Interesting idea but it’ll only be able to really vac out. The bed of the truck much better is just a portable rechargeable vacuum that you keep under the rear seat that you can carry around and get everything with. I’m not saying it’s a cool idea. I just wonder how much more of value it adds to just having one you can move around with. I keep a portable vacuum. That’s also a blower which is great for blowing off your dashboard and small crevices and it sits right next to a battery charger, tire inflator and hazard flashlight and it all sits under the seat altogether. It cost me 200 bucks just saying many ways to look at keeping your truck clean.

Ya that was kind of my thought too. My mind started working on it and I thought it could be cool. It might be a better idea if it were removable, maybe.

What brand vacuum did you get?

from Amazon the brand is VTOMAN I also got a combocar charger, air compressor and emergency light same brand and they both fit together in nice pouches under the seat. When I hit the boost button on the car charger when charging my 12v of my hybrid, it prevented the deep sleep problem

Oh ya, I forgot they did that in the Pacifica. I like the format. I'm not going to spend that much on this project... lol. Thank you for the insight though. Maybe I could find one at a junk yard or something.
$1,300 for a vacuum!! Yikes!

Idk, what about shove a small compressor in there and have a hose come out to blow the debris out of the bed.
