I’ve had my XLT hybrid for a couple of weeks now and have noticed the seat does not stay in the last position I put it in. If I leave it for a period of time/over night it raises on its own so the next time I get in I have to duck my head until I readjust the seat hight. The seats are manual adjust and I’ve only noticed it on the driver side although I haven’t really tested the passenger side.
Has anyone noticed this or am I missing something to get it to stay?

Elves. Definitely elves.

Put some cookies in the bed of the truck and they'll hang out back there instead.

Wish it were elves or someone messing with me. I’ve started to notice that on longer drives the longer I sit in the seat it slowly lowers itself. Something is too loose under there.

Hi Jeremy! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Maverick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you with this concern on my end!

Have discovered that the PASSENGER seat does not have the same height adjustment as the DRIVER's seat. Ford video on Google does slight word trickery in describing the upward mobility of the seat. Explains now to raise the seat height on the "driver's" seat but bypassed the point about raising the passenger seat....if anyone figures out how to raise the passenger seat height please advise for my 4'11" wife.

I have had my XLT, Lux, Hybrid for a week and love it. Drove 400 miles so far including 200 of interstate and averaged 40.5 mpg. Very smooth, tight ride. I just discovered, however, after 2 different passengers adjusted the manual seat height, the lever now is broken and the seat is stuck in fully lowered position. I plan on taking it to the dealer soon but has anyone had that problem? I can’t believe a gear or internal lever part has broken already.

Thanks for the response. It actually is fine. It doesn't appear to be broken, just was hard to adjust with weight on it. Love the Mav. John
