I don't own a cell phone. Uh Oh!

But you posted here with some electronic device. Be it PC, tablet or laptop. I prefer the convenience of a handheld device with postable video, pictures, screenshots, audio, flashlight, level.....etc. I can go from taking a picture or screenshot and post it here less than a minute.
And I can text and make and receive phone calls too . All that and I can carry it in my pocket.

The main advantage of a digital document (as long as it's in a common format such as PDF) is that it is searchable. I have a printed hardcopy manual with my 24 Tremor and it is crap.

Yup I just had this discussion with the dealer on my Bronco and same story, got the thin supplemental book and the rest is in the nav. Pay more and get less, the way of the world now.

Got my 2025 AWD hybrid today. What’s the deal on the so called manual? Dealer handed me this thin booklet, supplemental manual. Ok thinking there is a most in-depth manual in the glove box…
Nope he said that’s it…
Nothing on drive modes, the information screen… But lots on seat belts and tires…

Don't think this is Ford only, and certainly not recently for others.

Heard about that happening when I heard about spare tires being left out of trunk, in their obviously intended space was the circular foam insert holding jack and tire inflator can.

I would imagine the digital owner's manual looking nice and crisp on a big screen that's at eye level and easier to read rather than small text in a book.

Sure. Have multiple computers. With big screens.
I don't have them installed in the Maverick.

My preference is a book. It's available. Works best for me.
I'm not telling any of y'all to get rid of your cell phones and the monthly cost.

I'm average height. 5'9". And yes, both the old screen and new screen are about at eye level. I don't have to look down at the screen like other vehicles. And that's with no slumping. I sit upright.
