I do think that’s pretty cool, I just hate the effect of disconnecting carplay if you wanted to check something at a stoplight, or use your phone while you are in the truck waiting for something.

good point. When I saw it I was like damn I want it and replace my wireless dongle since It will also charge when connected to that. Saved me a few bucks. But for people that dont use their phones at all while driving then thats a good alternative to buying that one device that actually works with xl and xlt models. Still a pretty damn good option. I like it.

I ordered this and it does not work in my Mav. It will connect for a second then drop. It will work however plugged into an outlet in the house.

That sucks did you get the Maxx ones I know they are the only ones that work with data.
