I'll bet I've "sold" 6 of these just by talking to people at the car shows and cruise nights. Had a couple when I hauled my tractor to the last cruise night just drooling all over it not realizing I could actually haul something like that!Went to a local Pieroge store to pick up a few things. As my wife and I were walking in, a late 60's woman was walking out with her goodie bag. I hear "OH MY GOD, WHEN DID THEY START MAKING THE MAVERICK AGAIN!" She says "That's perfect. Our F250 is too big, so I usually take the Explorer. But I love it, it's the perfect Size" I said the first year was 2022. Told her they start at $30k, and the hybrid gets 40MPG. She was ecstatic. Said she will tell her her husband That's her next vehicle. She loves driving a truck, but hates the F250 size. Win-win. I couldn't belive she didn't notice one before. It was my tailgate letters that made her notice.

What brand of cover is that? Not sure if they are all the same and match the color of bumper so I'll have to take a look. How do they attach? Just snap into place?Your tailgate looks great the way it is. The shadow incognito look is so much better than the in your face lettering everyone else seems to need to stick on there. Also, the cover for your 4 pin receptacle looks good. That was our first accessory we added. So many Mavericks I see are lacking that and they look like something fell off, which in reality did (Ford left it off).

Not mine, but that's a factory cover, cut to work with the hitch.
This is not a factory cover. Someone on a Maverick Facebook group was selling them so we bought one. Our Maverick came with the big ugly gap left there. These mount with some Phillips head screws that tie it to the surround. Was a bit difficult to mount but probably because I was overthinking it. We have a full size truck for towing so the 2K is just an afterthought but might be used for pulling a small landscape trailer to the recycle center with fall leaves in bags to make mulch.

It's actually a factory cover for a truck with no hitch that was modified. Guy has sold hundreds of them here.
Mabett makes an aftermarket copy, but easy to see that they are not made from factory covers.
I'm mostly over Chrome embellishments as well. Just thought it may go with the chromed emblem if that was your thing.#OMG I might need to say no, no, no... chrome is the devil
EG + bronze/copper/gold so good.
I see a couple EG Mavs around town / in my neighborhood. And I really want EG. :_)
(But, I know my VB + Black does me good too.
)My first Chev K1500 Silverado was a "Forest Green", that kinda grew me onto 'Green' vehicles. (But, EG is a lot better than most IMO.)
I have an old crush on 'Blue', Subaru Rally Blue
hooked me, Ford's too I suppose. Admittedly Blacks and [dark] grays are great too, esp for the subtle, 'don't look at me, you see nothing' approach. There is always bound to be another, brighter, red/orange/yellow car to draw attention away from those drab black n grays.
So stealthy.
