I generally think Mabett stuff is absolute crap (whether their design or "borrowed" from others), but this seems to be good enough, and a there is no competition I can see other than DIY.

Bought last month - seems well-made and was very well packaged. Just need to find time to install it.

Hello, I think the Maverick needs something because Ford did a horrible job with this issue. I looked at mine on my 2023 and it was full of mud, rocks, all kinds of debris and there are a lot of wires up in there also.. I madey own from products at Home Depot and it seems fine ( not an engineer but I'm happy. It this item really worth $79 dollars? Seems everything has to be so damn expensive these days and yes I know it costs for materials but $79? Stay with the one that I put my blood, sweat and tears into.y opinion, thanks

I’m studying this but I’m thinking I will build a void area out of plastic sheeting or something to protect the wiring and components and use spray foam to completely fill the rest of the area and shave it smooth once it drys

Yea . area can cause issues . That is why I bought a cubby ( $45 at dealership with fordpass points ) for the drivers side bed . XLT here so already had bed cubby on right side . dealership actually had one in stock . problem solved for $45 about one plus years ago .

Just know if you have the rear parking sensors, you will have to modify the part to get it to fit. I returned it.

16 months and 17,000 miles later I’ve had No dirt or anything build up or get up in that space. Plus being open it dries out fast.

My mud flaps keep it plenty clean.

Just sayin.

Same here. Instructions are terrible though so it took much trial and error to finally get it right.

No build up, no mud, just a dry underbody area. The little bit of dirt on the lower painted panel is because it rained and I was in a dirt road today.

I’ll not close mine in and trap water/ moisture in there.
