Mabett Help

Most everyone has been so happy with Mabett products. The reviews are great so I took the plunge. First items arrived today and I am not happy.

First item is Amazon's fault not Mabett. I ordered the rear seat trash can and got three of them.

The second item is the
Mabett Dashboard Storage Organizer
All the reviews say it fits perfectly. It isn't even close. Do you have to remove the factory bin in order to install this one?

All I read says no, it just drops in. Not even close on my 2025 Lariat.

Any thoughts?

Mabett is off the hook with me.

Happens all the time.
Folks get excited. Order stuff without reading the text.
Mabett even explains the reason Amazon shows "out of stock" but can still be ordered. People still complain of item being "out of stock"

The only problem I've had with Mabett was the side marker Lights. 1st set half the lights stop working after a short time and the second set filled up with water so I gave up.

So far, we have purchased 6 items made by Mabett. They are as follows: Glove Box Organizer Divider, Mud Flaps, Rear Bumper Cover Plate, Underbody Cavity Shield, Mabett Trash Can, Hood and Tailgate lift cylinder kit. The Glove Box Organizer and Mud Flaps were great. The rear bumper cover plate can use a little filing or sanding to fit perfect, will do in nice weather. The underbody cavity shield plate needs some rework to fit right. It hits on the rear bumper cover reinforcement and requires the plate to bend some. Again, a nice weather project. The trash can fit but with a full cover rear floor mat it is lifted up and almost falls out of the spot made for it in the center console. The worst is the hood lift kit and rear tailgate assist tube kit. The tailgate assist tube is weak at best and only slowed the tail gate dropping the last couple of inches. The hood lift kit causes the hood brackets to hit on the plastic cowl and causes the hood to be pushed up. The right-side gas tube hits the washer fluid filler neck. Causing it to be forced down and right side of the hood to push up. Luckily, I did not just drop or slam the hood, or it could have been costly.

Most of the items were purchased during the black Friday sales events and right after the truck was ordered. The truck arrived last week so we are past the return window. For the most part if you have some time and are handing you can make them work. Thats except for the lift kit, cannot recommend it at this time.

I had the Dashboard Storage Organizer on my '24 and when I got my '25 I dropped it in and yes, it doesn't really fit, the opening is much larger on the '25. It just sort of floats in there right now. I guess I'll have to wait till they come out with one for the '25.

Cheap China made junk it seems.
That’s one reason I let other people spend the money on the hot new Maverick jewelry then I wait.

I have the mud flaps. They fit perfect, were easy to install and provide great coverage without rubbing paint. I did add a piece of heavy duty rubber to the driver side rear to improve coverage.

They have been on my truck for 1.5 years and are holding up great. I recommend them.
