Well, of course it is, it's all about engagement and gaining attention. Which apparently is exactly what my post did, so they are welcome
Mabett doesn't have to give anything away. I suppose the purpose is too arouse interest in the Maverick. Good job.

Mud flaps, Door Sill things, Back seat cup holder (had to remove it for a third passenger in the back seat), and tailgate hole cover. Sorry no before photos of the inside area with out those. Oh, I have the cubby hole phone holder as well, forgot the photo of that. Included a summer photo without mud flaps. Sorry for the wintery snow slush photos.....

Thank you for your caring response. Or should I say Karen response.. To be completely honest, I could not care any less then what I do already. Never intended to show them off just saying, if they want to entice people, they should probably offer a better prize.

People have gotten super butt hurt about this and are quick to come to the defense of a corporation but there is literally a post right above this one that says the same exact thing
Have a great day glad to see such a great community.. And I thought it was only Ram Owners that acted like that
No, us Mav owners act like adults too, it's not just RAM owners. Nobody needs to entice anyone to purchase from their company, regardless of who it is. And to suggest they offer a light bar before you'll play is borderline mental. But if you're 'entitled', that's totally up to you.. The rest of us will continue paying for our mods and not ask for freebies.

You obviously have not met a Ram Owner, because they are far from adults.I don't know why you would want to lump yourself in that group.

That is entirely what companies do. That's why many of them offer rebates, incentives and other things to get you to purchase their products including giving things away, because they rely on the public to support their company especially when it's horrible chinese quality, I never asked for any products. Don't want them and far from entitled, I purchase my stuff as well Just not there stuff.
The point of the post was, if they want to attract people, they should probably do it with something that's better quality.

Hmmm, in an effort to get this thread back on track here's my progress...

I started with a stripped, white, '22 XL Ecoboost. Sold it to a dealer with 7000 miles on it for nearly $8,000 more than I paid when my '23 Hybrid XL arrived.

Drove straight home and lowered it. Window tint, stereo, wheels, tires, tonneau, and a bunch of other stuff.

Five months in a lady made an illegal left turn in front of me.

Ford Maverick Mabett Giveaway: Your Maverick Modification Journey: From Zero to Hero 20230519_113813

Two days later a friend called and asked if I was okay. He asked what I was going to do since my Maverick was totalled. I had no idea.

He offered his '23 Lariat hybrid with 1400 miles to me at a fair price. Problem was I was in Utah and he was in Georgia. Flew out and drove home.

Lowered on Silver's coilovers, @Diode Dynamics awesome fog lights, @Realtruck tonneau, Rockford Fosgate and Infinity stereo system, window tint, painted bumpers, skirts and tailgate handle. Grill bar painted to match the powder coated Ford Escape wheels....

Both truck's threads are in my signature below.

This is great timing, for me. The console organizer I purchased (not Mabett brand) has broken and I need to replace it. Would love to be chosen for the giveaway. I appreciate page sponsors giving back to the community, and I've seen Mabett reach out a bunch. Good job supporting the group!

And if some people want to bitch about my truck because it wasn't what THEY would have done, help yourselves - I didn't build it for you.

I participated in the lowered and modified mini pickup truck phase in the early 1980s and was tempted to revisit it with a Maverick. Yet, I went in the opposite direction to take advantage of the AWD.

I like all of the choices you made - your Maverick is fantastic.

I appreciate it. I'm a late 80's minitrucker who moved to hot rods but never lost the passion. I currently have a slammed Suburban and slammed Nissan 720 too. Pics are on my build thread.

The mini-truck phase in the 1980s was about the closest I came to hot rods (Chevrolet Luv and Datsun 620).

I owned a 1974 BMW 2002tii modified into a modern interpretation of an Alpina A4S. I also owned a BMW 5-series, which someone else modified as a European Car magazine project car (the Barnyard Bimmer project). I improved it before selling it a couple of years ago.

I have focused on youth soccer for the last 25 years but have started withdrawing recently. I am looking for the next project to work on.

I have been watching your new build thread since you started. You have provided a lot of valuable and constructive advice. Keep up the great work.

My Tonka journey...loving every moment of it. Two years later I'm still annoying my family and coworkers with Maverick talk daily. Plus they had to hear about it for the entire 585 days I waited for it to be built...

and they thought it would end on day 586, not!

I like your outlook on life. Still standing so you went on forward. Like I have stated before, your Maverick is one of the top 5 I have seen in here that has been modified. Didn't know your original Maverick was in a collision. I'm glad you made it.

Props to the Maverick brother who reached out to you to buy his! We are truly a family!!
