Does anyone know the amount of bars in the stock MAP sensor used on the 2022 2.0 Ecoboost?
I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere online.
This is the part number:
K2GZ-9F479-A

Thank you

I'm not clear on your question. 1 bar is 14.5 PSIA, standard atmospheric pressure a few hundred feet above sea level. Are you asking for normal MAP readings at idle, or perhaps maximum turbo boost?

I’m interested in maximum turbo boost. As I understand, if the stock MAP sensor is 2 bars (or less) the boost might be being limited. I have several performance upgrades, including larger turbo
Thank you for responding

So you left out huge parts of the picture. What I get is that you're asking if the stock computer injection, temperature and pollution profiles will just work with your heavily modified engine. The stock 250hp from 2.0L is already about 3 times what you could get from any 1980s V8, and about the same hp/L that a current Nascar engine gets. Maybe you should ask the guy who designed your combination of non-stock parts if they had considered these questions at all, or just threw some untested partsbin stuff together and said ooh, more hp. Also ask them about the possibility of overloaded and melted pistons, the need for bigger rods and upgraded injectors to handle the additional boost, an even stronger bottom end, a heavier transmission, bigger cat converters and a bunch of other questions that nobody here is going to be able to answer.

RedRider,

Why don’t you take your Hybrid and go on honeymoon all alone

What a douche. I guess that's what the ignore button is for. Has a hybrid (in his sig) and goes to the EB page to type out a list of half thought out responses to questions you didn't ask.

Back to the point, I believe it's a 1.5 bar sensor ( i can't confirm that as of yet) nor have I found any higher pressure sensors that would be plug and play -yet. Keep us posted if you come across anything

Hi Bobby,
I ¿think¿ I’ll have the answer in a few days. I was hoping for plug and play too. This will require splicing in a different harness. I’m reasonably handly. Let’s see what’s involved and decide🤞
Worse case scenario… I’ll have an adapter made. That will make it, pretty much, plug and play.
Feel free to check back with me in about a week. I’ll tell you what I learned.
My word? Always good
My memory? Not so much

Regarding CanadaBoy- You saw my response
