Congrats on your purchase! I had considered the same truck but after getting what I wanted in my trade in, employee pricing, and 1k vet discount I went with the Lariat, no regrets! Enjoy your new truck!
I thought about getting one with more options but I’m older and looking for the simple life

On 12/31/24 I took my 2024 Awd Ecoboost Lariat off the show room floor for $36,000
Plus tax tag and title that I paid up front.
I financed $27,000 I cleared $9,000 for trade in after paying off my 2021 Bronco Sport Base model. They gave me $19,000 for it with 57,000 miles. It was $29,600 including tax tag and title when new and was four years old to the month. It was also a first run and the very first Bronco Sport in Cherokee county.
I had celebrity status for the next three months, everybody taking pictures of it and asking questions. I was very happy with the little 3 cylinder dragon engine. It was pretty peppy and matched the AWD Hybrid Maverick In Horse power and torque.

But I must admit that after test driving the Hybrid then the Ecoboost with its turbo and the feel of V-8 power I only had eyes for the Ecoboost.
The cost if fueling the Ecoboost was not a concern and I’m very happy with my mpg’s.

They gave me a $1,500 military discount and a dealer ‘Incentive’ what ever that is for a total of
$2,300 off the window sticker of $38,300
Hey they were trying to get rid of the 2024’s
A blue 2024 XLT replaced my Lariat on the show room floor. They sold that the next week.

My window sticker said I paid an extra $780 for the Hot Pepper Red paint job. That color really looked fantastic under the show room lights and even better out in the Sun. I liked it bunches. I had never in my life paid an up charge for a paint color but it’s a New World Order so I thought, wtf.

The only options I didn’t get or need was the sun roof, that I’d never use and the 4k towing package that I didn’t need.

My little 4x8 flat trailer loaded has never gone over 2,600 pounds and my Maverick effortlessly pulls it up and down my Appalachian mountains with no issues.
Since I pull it so rarely I didn’t want the lower gearing of the 4k.

My plan was to beat the 2025 price increase and I did. The next 2025 Loaded Lariat Ecoboost they got in was $42,500. Plus I did not like the 2025 front end. It’s fine now, I got used to it.

The Maverick is in high demand and is steady becoming too expensive to be a deal.
Still watching and expecting to see tariffs destroy the sale of Mavericks. I expect the 2026 AWD Eco Lariats to top $48,000

If so I’ll drive mine into the junk yard. I’ll never sell it or trade it in. But if Ford gets its shit together and moves Maverick manufacturing into the states I will be supporting American workers and I’ll gladly pay $48,000 to drive a 2030 model.

Op, I think it wise you grab one now and not stress over some single thousand dollar discount. Then you can drive this fantastic mini pick up truck now, before you die.
Life is really that short and It is still the only one out there.
Cherokee- I agree with you on not “nickel and dimeing“ on the price. I got my 2025 Lariat Hybrid 4K towing and sunroof for $39500, before tarrifs kicked in. OTD pricing is really meaningless because of location. I live in Delaware, very low tax and registration.

You missed employee pricing by less than a week. Really bad timing.

If I were you I’d put the purchase off for 90 days - apply for a mustang club of America membership so you get X plan pricing (after 90 days) and a farm bureau membership for another $500 off.

This will get you to about $1500 under msrp give or a take a few bills depending on trim level.

If you don’t care about additional savings then go ahead and pull the trigger now.
That sounds like a viable plan. But with the tariffs question changing day by day, I wouldn't risk it. I'd buy now because only TODAY'S price is certain.

Hello, everyone. I am a new member, been on the Ford Gen 14 F150 forum for years. I am a geezer now and my wife gently tells me I am having difficulty parking my 2021 F150 Lariat Supercab (only 26,000 mi) when we drive into town. Went to my Ford dealer and drove two Maverick XLTs to check out the engines. Impressive for that size truck. My wife has a 2024 Ford Escape Hybrid and that is great for us, as we live in the country but don't haul anything except a bike rack. Told my dealer I wanted a 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid w/ Black Appearance Package, and he knew they were out there. He had to trade, sent 16 emails out, got one reply back: No. Rest of the dealers never responded. Given pending factory model year turnover, decided to order a 2026 when available. I have Ford's proprietary price List for 2025 (8/1/2024) so if anyone gets the same for the 2026 Maverick, I would appreciate it. My dealer in Kansas does not price gouge or put dealer junk on their vehicles to drive up the price, but I like to know how much wiggle room I have, and they are good about it. Also found out the 2026 Maverick will be built in Louisville to avoid the tariff, which makes sense since the Escape is made there. Anyway, I am looking forward to learning from you all, owning a Maverick Lariat Hybrid, and doing what I did to my last truck: customize!

Welcome to MTC, and I'll bet you $100 the 2026 Maverick is NOT built in Louisville.

Won't take that bet. Lots of chatter in the Louisville Courier about picking up production orders because Hermasillo cannot meet demand. With a 25% tariff supposed to go in effect August 1, lots of speculation on that. The 2026 Maverick and other US vehicles made in Mexico get very pricey even if Ford and other brands offer incentives or eat some of that. Dealer on hand inventories turn to gold, which is why I wanted a 2025. On your turf, Metro Ford in Chicago, Illinois, currently wants over $51K for a Maverick. And people in hell want ice water.

It would be interesting to see Ford get the necessary tooling ready for a Maverick in time for the 2026 model year. The Escape is similar, but very different at the same time. Building a car plant from scratch is not like ordering take-out. Permits, tooling, labor. It doesn't happen fast.
