i have a 2024 hybrid with a tow rating of 2000 pounds. I can rent a small camper that has a dry weight of 1667 pounds. I will be traveling by myself and light. I would like opinions as to whether traveling 3200 miles (some mountain) at maximum towing capacity would be pushing it too much.

It will be fine.

Rule of thumb:

Don't keep the power meter above 50% for longer than 3 minutes without a 2 minute rest in between and this truck will pull anything you put behind it.

Just slow down a couple or 5 mph if you see the needle constantly above 50%.

Above 50% is fine for accelerating, passing, etc. Just don't keep it higher than 50% for long periods.

IT IS AMAZING what 40% power will do so don't worry.

I tow 3200 lbs all the time.
I keep it 65 MPH and under.
(50 MPH on hills)

Never came close to overheating.

We're a dozen years out from the "Liar's Poker" era of truck tow ratings, so you can reasonably expect it to do what it says on the tin.
