We had a short rain storm come through today and it brought the temperatures down below 90 so I decided to install the LOBO logo.
First step was to clean the area with grease and wax remover. Next clean the area with alcohol.
I used a trimmed 2x4 and some shims to make sure the letters would be level with the truck.
With the template taped to the tail gate the backing was removed from the letters and they were installed. The template was carefully removed and the letters checked to make sure they were firmly attached.
All in all it came out pretty good but I probably should have mounted the logo a little bit higher.
Total time was about 15 minutes.

I looks pretty good, but I agree it would look better up higher. I've noticed that, on the '22-'24, Ford applies the stock badges (Hybrid, AWD) even with the centerline of the sheet metal under the taillight.

Interesting. My 2025 Hybrid AWD did not come with any decals or emblems.

The 2025's don't. That's why I specified '22-'24. The 2024 FX4 also has no tailgate emblems.

Why did you use a bubble level instead of just measuring up from the bottom of the tailgate?
Frist I checked to see if the whole truck was level. Then I checked the bumper, it has a very slight curve so my parallel trimmed 2x4 needed a couple of shims to make it level with the truck. I also checked to see that the bottom of the tail gate was level - it was.
I found it difficult to measure and mark the location using the bottom of the tale gate. Much easier to use the trimmed (square) 2x4 and rest the 1/8" thick "template" on the flat surface and tape it to the tail gate. It was easier and less chance for error that way.
