Took my truck in for state inspection and have them take care of the 7 recalls that were on my Maverick at the local Ford dealership last week Thursday and Friday. I got my truck back on Friday and found out I had a exhaust leak due to them miss aligning it when they had to take it off to inspect the gas tank. No big deal, took it by there Tuesday this week, it took them 30 min to fix. But now this morning I was just about to leave my shop to head to a jobsite and the truck just stopped. Tried to crank it several times but no luck. Scanned it with my OBD scanner and it said no communication with fuel pump module and low pressure at fuel rail. Now Im waiting for a tow to take it back to the dealship and they are giving me a loaner car for the rest of the week and weekend since they cant get to it till next week. Annoyed!

Ummm…not so sure that you should be taking it back to the same dealership after successive, worsening failures. Yikes!

Not all dealers have great mechanics. Try another.

Just got the truck back. They said the reason for the lost of communication to the fuel pump was because they forgot to reconnect a grounding wire. The shop foreman looked over everything before they confirmed it was all fixed and over everything else on the truck before they gave it the green light. Glad it wasn't a problem with the wiring harness, like a cut or crimped wire.

I'm glad they finished it today since I had planned on servicing all the fluids this weekend. After reading everyone's comments and videos, my truck has 32000 miles and it seems like a good time to change the Oil, Transmission, PTU, and RDU fluids. So let the fun begin tomorrow.

Glad the Dealer owned up that they caused the problem.. Bet 90% of other Dealers wouldn't do that.
