Is there actually a list somewhere of the actual differences between co-pilot 1.0 and 2.0?

Trying to read through the search results is maddening!

it seems that 2.0 has the stop & go cruise control, and probably a bit more collision assistance, but that's as far as I've been able to decipher.

Only thing I'd be interested on any car is the reverse sensors and the blind spot monitoring. All the other crap like adaptive cruise control, automatic braking whatever other nonsense you can keep.

automatic braking in the other car would have helped at least three times that my cars have been hit, and once when my wife hit another car that it probably would have stopped her.

For crying out loud, a couple of old ladies hit her in my '93 cadillac Fleetwood (last of the big rear drive GM)--a white Fleetwood in an empty black parking lot, and "we didn't see you!".

adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, lane centering ... Once you get used to them, you wonder how you lived without them. Wouldn't buy another car without them. Adaptive cruise brought me from 73 to almost a complete stop yesterday on the interstate in heavy traffic. I am 75 and use all of the safety features. Love them. lol... Had all of them in my Escape Titanium and now in my new 2024 Maverick Lariat (had for 2 weeks now). Would have liked the front parking sensors again as long as they worked properly, but love not hearing them, as the right side front sensors on my Escape were way over sensitive (30 or more feet to a fence when I was backing out of the garage and they would go bonkers, full red, but seemed to be only right after I started that car that they were that sensitive. Weird... Of course the dealer could never duplicate.... hahahaha

Alright since you brought it up.
ACC is really cool but also really stupid. Anyone that uses it knows that you can set the cruise for lets say, 70 mph, and suddenly you realize you are going 63 because you’ve been following some slow poke for 2 miles.

It is mostly a stupid feature that on rare occasions can be of help, but it’ mostly stupid.

I love the ACC and braking on my RAV, but they can take the lane centering off. I gave it another try on a trip last week and I still hate it. It is too twitchy, and I know where I want my car in the lane, and it isn't in the center. I am always right of center in the right lane and left of center in the left lane, like my dad taught me. That extra few inches has saved me when the crazies come whipping around me going 90 on the freeway. I will give the Maverick a shot when I get it, but I am confident the results will be the same.

My two cents is that it can be a great feature, depending upon where and under what conditions one is driving, not to mention the level off attention a driver is paying to the task at hand.

I feel ACC and all the safety sensors are driver preference
I went from a 2005 Nissan Sentra to my first new vehicle 24 Lariet Tremor
I've been playing with all the settings
And i do love the ACC and lane centering
Especially after this weekend driving in Orlando, almost got sideswiped by flat bed wrecker
If I was 2 inches further to the side I'd be in a rental.
But I was able to jerk wheel to other side half lane later the other person got back into his lane
But like I said it's drivers preference.
I'm enjoying them all

Sounds like someone who hasn't used ACC. ;) (Emergency braking is annoying but -my- Maverick is fine with it... a 2015 Forester I used to daily drive was -not-, it was really bad, it would slam the brakes on needlessly all the time...)

This is going to greatly vary by model, year, and trim.

On the MY23 Co-pilot 360 gave you lane centering, adaptive cruise, and back-up sensors. But you couldn't get that without the Lariat. Now, it includes 360-cameras and front sensors (which are handy when parking in a garage) but still doesn't include intelligent cruise which is available with CP360 on other models.

Best place for information will be Ford's website. If you are shopping for a MY25, do a "Build and Price" and look over the different available options and what they include.

I haven't used cruise control since I was probably 18 and that's been two and a half decades ago. So yeah if it's associated with cruise control I know I wouldn't like it.

That's what my dad said. Then he got a car with ACC and used it a lot.

Cruise control <> Adaptive cruise control.

You might try being open minded and giving it a shot if you have it in a rental or a friends car.

Nope as shitty as people drive today I never use cruise control. Regardless or not if it adapts to the person in front of you. Glad you enjoy it though. My Explorer has it and I've never used it in the 4 years I've owned it.
