The video is well done with detailed instructions. They do not indicate whether it is specifically for the FX-4 model. They used the tow hook well as a way to route the light bar wires into the engine bay over to the 12v battery. My hybrid does not have tow hooks, and the 12v battery is located under the rear seat. There are terminals in the engine bay for a jump connection to the battery, but I'm not sure they would work as regular battery terminals. Because of the electric motor, there's not enough room in the engine bay for the battery. If you have the ECO, then all you need to worry about is an alternative route to the engine bay.
I've seen those. I think they're more for looks than anything else. Also, a bright light here would most likely not be legal - blinding oncoming drivers. Mounting a bright light nearer the road is a much better solution if you're looking for better light coverage for inclement weather.
