These look like they'd be a pain in the ass to clean. "Cracked, hazy lenses" will be the least of your worries when there are baked-on insect carcasses all up in there.

Easy to replace tells that they are probably easy to steal, and sell on ebay. I guess time will tell

No lens is not an improvement. Replaceable lens, user replaceable components an improvement.
Lighting has become overcomplicated & too high cost.

Prices on electronics make no sense these days. So, I can buy a 65-inch smart tv for $500 but headlights and smart phones are $1000 and up? And then people scream when a dozen eggs hit $5 while they are holding their $5 Starbucks and showing off their $1000 tattoo. Progress.

A bit pricey ($900) but then I read that repairing a current LED lense can run up to $1000, so maybe it makes sense
