I've never done any wiring either, so well done, it looks sweet.

It was a lot more straightforward than I thought! The one picture shows a fitting I saw in another person’s YouTube video - a female x male x male connector, which allows you to connect the three black wires together. That was the only real tricky part I think.

I like the color change. I'd been looking to add a strip of white LEDs to help with unloading when we go camping. The Lariat has the light in the back, but it could use more.

Ya the colors are totally unnecessary but fun and maybe a few bucks more!

But just don’t be like one guy around here, and drive with the LEDs turned on.

Some joker in a lifted Silverado with bright LEDs all over the place, even on the rims (not sure how you wire that). At night it looks like one of the space ships from Close Encounters.

Ya, I could see that being irritating to other drivers for sure!

I did the same thing with mine. Nice for unloading groceries at night with a tonau cover.

Hey, come on. It's special to him and he put some time and effort into the project. I think it's great that he shared. Sure there's been numerous posts about bed lighting, but some folks are new members and haven't seen them. We are a club . . . we should have each other's backs.
