It was a lot more straightforward than I thought! The one picture shows a fitting I saw in another person’s YouTube video - a female x male x male connector, which allows you to connect the three black wires together. That was the only real tricky part I think.
Just installed LED bed lighting in my 2023 XL Hybrid!
Used the provided 12v connection and wiring harness, connected it to a 5-switch marine panel and used one of the switches to power the LED lights. In hindsight, I should have gotten one with less switches, as I don’t know what I will do...

To me it’s the perfect vehicle, although it may not be for everyone.
It’s got a better payload rating than compact cargo vans, has seats for my family of 4, it gets between 5 and 6 L/100km, is great for driving and parking in tight spots in downtown Toronto, and is fun to drive :)
I took the advice of those on this forum and got one of these back seat pet protectors from Amazon. Works great so far and it’s an easy way to effectively add secure tool storage without destroying the seats. Thanks for the tips!
Less than 1 week after picking it up, I went through a car wash and the windshield cracked!
Not a crack like you normally see with a rock chip or something, but a huge, C-shaped, clean crack. See photo.
Anyone ever have this happen to them? I am thinking this has to be a manufacturing...
