I have always assumed I would purchase my Maverick, but am considering leasing given the possibility of a plug-in Maverick being available in around 3 years.
I know what the finance rates were from when I ordered, but were there lease deals in August 2021? I assume the MF would have gone up between then and now, but were they ever advertised?

I believe they took the lease option away for the Ford Maverick.

Well that would solve that. I thought some manufacturers were just taking away the ability to buy out the lease at the end.

In this market leases are without a doubt the worst deal

While I find that extremely unlikely you could always arrange your own lease with any leasing company, They pay the dealership for the Mav (or any vehicle), they then own it and lease it to you.
Personally it sounds like a dealership trying to get someone to walk so they can sell it with ADM.

I believe they only cancelled the promotional money factor, not leasing itself. And the "no lease buyout" was for the Mach-E and Lightning.

I considered a lease once but decided flex buy was a better deal considering the market and new lease buyout restrictions.

I thought there was a thread on here somewhere about it. They took away the lease option on the build and price on Ford’s website.

edit: I was wrong it just says there’s no incentives at this time, contact dealer for estimate at least payments.
