I think 10 hour drive or less I can make it work. I have tons of airline and hotel points from work travel, so I could fly and stay one night no problem. Go in late one day, stay one night, do paperwork first thing next morning, hit the road... So for $2500-3k savings it makes sense.

But multiple days driving, multiple nights in hotel, etc. You start to lose the benefit when you can't do the drive in one day.

Edit - distance dealer from major airport is a factor as well. Long McArthur is about 10 hours from me, but in the middle of nowhere. Getting to there from an airport would be a PITA.
Research Long McArthur again, if you finance thru them and pay at least 2 payments you then qualify for up to $1000 in travel expenses or delivering your vehicle to your house. They will sign paperwork thru electronic means. You don’t have to do hotels, airports, flying there, etc at all. Go to YouTube and watch many of their videos stating everything I just told you. Then call LM and ask for Sarah or Tim Bartz to qualify what I told you. Plus they LM are one of the leading sellers of Mavericks and have a very high allocations to get your truck possibly quicker than others. But you yourself need to do some research on all this. Thanks

How is that a good deal? They'll pay travel for MSRP? Why not stay in Houston for MSRP? I have done research, what is your point besides coming off as condescending for no reason.

Stay in Houston if your dealer will sell 581 MY22 Mavericks at MSRP, combine installation costs for aftermarket parts/accessories and honor the agreed upon price when you received a co-signed buyer's order.

They'll sell at least 1 '23 at MSRP... The other 580 I'm not too worried about. ;)
