So, I've bought and installed the Lightning Style DRL LED light bar on my Mav. Looks great, but the wiring instructions are sketchy AF. First off, there are no printed instructions with the kit, or available to download online. There are just a couple of videos that aren't very clear about what trim each are talking about. One is a XLT install, one is a Lariat install, and neither directs you to the other if you don't have the proper model.

I need help with the Lariat, and I'm not the only one. They show in the video where they tap into the white wire, which does make the LEDs work with the DRLs, but they stay on for 15 mins or more after the rest of the lights turn off. Looks strange. If I tap into the blue/brown wire as shown in the XLT video, I get nothing. I'd like to get this working properly and I know some others would too. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams of the Lariat lighting system? This might require a relay to work like we want, but I need to know what each wire is doing.

I know with the Bullseye Customs grille DRL/turn signal kits MrBoom found that tapping into the Lariat wiring at the headlamps themselves was a no-go as it can eventually cause erratic behavior where they stop working entirely. The computer basically thinks there's a circuit fault even if they function normally initially.

The Bullseye Customs kit instead uses a fuse tap into the underhood power delivery/fuse box. However in my personal experience there are some dimension tolerance issues where the cover for the fuses doesn't fit with a tap installed even after I modified a fuse tap to be even lower profile. That may be a difference between the EcoBoost vs Hybrid box design. Also on the Hybrid the ECM fuses recommended (11-14) remained hot so I instead tapped fuse 34 for the cameras/CP360.

You mentioned a couple of videos. Do you have links to those? I have Lariat hybrid if that helps.

Also found that lights failed after a while when tapped directly into headlight wires on my lariat hybrid.

The Blue/Brown is probably the headlights since the XLT/XL use the lowbeam headlights as the DRL's.
