My Lariat was scheduled to be built the week of 3/17. When checking on it states "in production" last update was 3/21. I was under the impression it took a day to build a truck. Anyone know how long this takes?

going to depend on options, BAP, moonroof, and the spray-in-liner (standard on lariat) all add time. i had the same schedule week as you, but it went into production a week early and only finished build this week, about 12 days total. i think any QC checks also count under "in production" as well. after build was complete it still took 48 hours before it shipped.

The tl;dr is that yeah, it def takes more than a day and regardless of how long it actually takes, the tracker isn't really that precise. It only gets updated periodically and it often shows bad/outdated info before correcting itself later.
It's fine for having a rough idea of where your truck is in the process, but don't expect a very accurate play-by-play. Cheers.

Mine had "Production" in bold without a date for about 1 week, then a 3/25 date on the "Production " line with a "Built" date of 3/26.

The most we have seen was a message on 3/17/2025 saying they were working on your scheduled build date.
Really wanted the truck built before tariffs kicked in.... but still in limbo... sigh

Got another update this morning that it has shipped. Hoping they weren't rushing it through just to beat the tariffs possibly resulting in a bad build!! Only three days from production to shipped? Haven't seen anything on this forum with that short of a time period!

Mine was built in 2 days, luckily not a Monday or Friday
