Just recently I noticed that my lane departure warnings were no long working, yet they are turned on in the console.

Anyone else seeing this? I hate going to the dealer just cause it's a PIA.

you gotta be driving over 40mph for lane departure to work. might be that?

It uses the camera to see the lines. If there is snow, ice, or mud blocking the camera you will get this message. If there is snow covering the road it will not see the lines and won't work. Also on most cars that have adaptive crusie control If snow and ice is in front of the radar it will not work or give you a message.

I'm thinking the lane centering is a fair weather friend. Definitely won't see through snow and ice, sometimes looses lanes when its hard rain, and mine seems to only see the double yellow lines at times.
