Ladder Rack

Looking for a removable (preferably clamp on to side rail type arrangement) ladder/lumber rack for Lariat. Preferably the type for one side of truck only. I saw one on Amazon by Vevor, but it appeared to be bolted on. I guess you could modify it to clamp on. I also guess you could make one out of wood, but if anyone has one or knows of one, I would appreciate it.

I got this canoe rack from Amazon. The hitch mounted part is width expandable.

Pretty happy with this one. Installed in an hour, removed for the winter in half that. 8 J bolts and they clear the Lariat utility rail. the powder gloss paint held up well and I yak in the briny. Amazon for under $110., came in 5 days. I just wish it was a tad lower as I am only 5'8" before old age shrinkage. I bought a stubby antennae for my Lariat but it clears the original. Thanks! I don't really need anything that heavy duty. That's why I said maybe one sided, BUT that's the right idea on how to connect it to the bed. I was thinking more like c clamps to keep it as tool free as possible. I really didn't want to attach to the roof.
P.S. I like to buy American made when I can, but for something I would use two or three times a year, I definitely have the Harbor Freight mentality LOL.

I thought about one sided but felt support could be an issue. Once I put the cross pieces across, I could not believe the sturdiness how using the full width and support of both rails. Yes, having served, I hate buying the enemy's products, but was worth saving $500. And 80 years ago we were sided with the Chinese against the Japanese, LOL.

I was thinking more along the lines of something like this, only with a longer foot that could be clamped to the side rails instead of bolting to floor.

If you need a bed cover like a tri fold hard then options are limited. But if not many choices above that are fine. If you want a bed cover too then use these rails Rails
