Knocking sound coming from dash. 2024 Lariat

I've had my truck for about 3 weeks now. When I first got it the dash made a little bit of noise. I just figured it was new and really cold outside. That noise has gotten worse and worse and is now beyond annoying when driving.
Is this a common issue or something that could be covered under warranty?

Same issue as my 2022 built, oh, like 300,000 trucks ago.

Haha I knew what to expect buying this but I didn't think the quality would be so bad.
Have you found any solutions to this? I'm ready to drive it off a cliff.

Yeah, I didn't expect the quality to be this bad either. But here we are.

The only solution I've seen is fully removing the top of the dash and insulating the windshield defroster vent. But I haven't seen anyone truly fix it without a dealer taking the dash apart. Maybe some other folks can chime in.

First thing you might try doing to confirm that it really is the issue is pull on the black plastic defroster itself towards you to see if you can get it to stop while driving.

it could be the windshield alignment pins, but that's usually more of a squeak than a knock.

search here, there's a bunch of threads. some folks have shimmed the dash with various small rubber bits, others have trimmed the windshield alignment pins completely off.

I have the 24 hybrid and it makes the knocking sound too from the dash so my son-in-law told me to bring it in he's a service writer for Ford and they'll try to find out what it is I'll post when I find out.
