thank you for response. Not familiar with Farm Bureau. What is that (warranty extended)?
So , looks like my 26 xlt, with door combination comes april or may; $32570 prices includes destination charge and door keypad entry. I put $500 as deposit. I will try to get that sales price down maybe $300. After all our family bought over last 3 years, 3 trucks from dealer.

How do you get a $500 discount for buying a 2026. I would like to get a 500 discount.
Don't be surprised if it really does get continued. Every year at this time, we always wonder if it will be there the next, usually by January we know it is. I would be very surprised if Ford stopped support of the Farm Bureau.
According to:
https://fordrecognizesu.com/farmbureau/EligibleVehicles
the 2026 Maverick is eligible for the $500 farm bureau discount. See that link for how to get the certificate (pay for membership at any state farm bureau then apply for the certificate which you bring to the dealer). However, again, at Sunrise Ford dealership in SoCal, from where I just paid for my 2026 Maverick, they showed me the Ford Corp paperwork listing the eligible Ford models for 2026 and the Mav was not on the list - it is for previous years. Please prove me wrong; I’d love to go back and get my discount.

I contacted Ford Recognition Programs about this. Their response, in short, is “the dealer may or may not honor the farm bureau membership discount”. Apparently I picked the wrong dealer. Excerpt below:

“The Ford Recognition Farm Bureau website has a footnote that says:

I'm guessing your dealer doesn't participate. I know when I bought mine as an ordered vehicle, when they (the sales manager) went into their computer for the pricing, the farm bureau discount was already present. I did not do anything other than join the Farm Bureau before three months earlier, process was all automated thru Ford.
