I have contacted them on more than one occasion. They do not have one yet.

you do NOT want a K&N for a modern vehicle. They are great, no, EXCELLENT for old carbureted vehicles, but allow too much grit (and oil vapor) into the intake, damaging the more sensitive components of the intake system, often destroying the MAF and other sensors.

Maybe K&N makes a filter that does not require oil baths now, but then it's just a regular filter, and there's no point in getting that brand. Unless it's cheaper.

I used K&N exclusively on my vintage cars, and will again on my next vintage car. The '69 Nova SS 396 I just sold for big bucks has had K&N filters for the last 25+ years.

Anyway, that's my two cents based on something as specious as browsing the internet over the last 30 years. I'm sure there are a lot of videos and claims that K&N is great, or "the best" even on new cars, but there are also a lot of videos of long-time mechanics with zero vested interest saying to avoid them for the reasons I mentioned above. To me, it's not worth the risk when there is no actual advantage of using them other than having a sticker to put on your bumper.

I got the k&n cabin air filter. Perfect fit. The internet scared me away from engine filter. I used to always use them.

Do you have any measurable performance numbers of your truck with and without the k&N? How is the convenience of having to buy oil, wash the filter, properly reapply the oil and the chance of it getting clogged going? Paper filter is the way to go for passenger vehicles.

Maybe you misread my post. I bought the CABIN air filter. No oils. Only a nice smelling spray that comes through the HVAC.

Do not put a wet gauze filter in your Ecoboost.
Your turbo will pay the price.
Don’t believe the hype, your fuel air system will simply dial back the extra air flow of the K&N to computer presets as needed.
Your engine will not get more air.
Air fuel ratio’s/mixtures are carefully controlled on the fly as you drive.

K&N’s worked great with carburetors.
Not so with EFI without a re tune.

I honestly wouldn't waste the money you're better off with a OEM paper filter. I remember back on k&n was the thing in the late '90s early 2000s I had them and one truck and never bought them again.

I have to mention no one here is criticizing anyone for using/wanting K&N air filter, we're trying to help them avoid making a costly mistake.

dont do it,these filters were made for high grit dust areas like the Baja race, they are not really designed for street use they pass too much dirt under normal conditions like other wallet lighteners they really offer no performance gains on engines with electronic engine management, invest in top tier gas and quality oil and filters any of these "wallet lighteners" if any gain it was usually on very high rpm and it was minimal( stay away from the controllers as well,if you want a sports car buy one-anything that drastically increase engine performance will result in shortened engine life.
