Hello everyone! I've been reading these threads for the last year+ and I just put down a deposit to go pick up a 2023 Mav this week that has been sitting on the lot.
I've been watching multiple Mavs sitting on dealer lots and used ones on FB Marketplace. This was the first dealer that was willing to entertain an offer below sticker. Seems like the ridiculous markups are starting to dwindle away!

2023 Hybrid Lariat Cactus Grey
Remote start system
Lariat Lux Package
Co pilot 360 + assist
Window air deflectors
Tailgate lock

Original quote they gave me was $38,332.84
MSRP is $34,300
Out the door price is $35,000
Not a steal but pretty happy about it all things considered!

Definitely want to get a bed liner put in. I'll search the forums but any advice on getting a bed liner? Use Ford points vs a non Ford bed liner product?

Since taxes and fees can vary by state and dealer, the price for the truck itself was $33,059 with an MSRP of $34,300. So $1,241 under MSRP and they threw in their lifetime powertrain warranty with it. Everyone on their team there was a joy to work with!

I believe you got a really good deal. Nice work! Doesn't the Lariat Lux come with some kind of bed liner already?

Edit: I looked at the sticker and did NOT see any kind of bed liner.

You did really good.

I see it's a dealer ordered blue sticker Hybrid. As time goes by we will see more of these on dealer lots.

Thanks! I'm happy with it and I believe I'll be able to sell my Tacoma for close to what I purchased this for which was the goal. I guess the bedliner isn't included with the Lariat Lux package. I believe for 2024 it comes standard with the Lariat trim. I'm doing my research on DIBL vs SIBL. But leaning towards just using my Ford points for the DIBL.

Thanks! Absolutely, there are definely more on lots down here in NC. The morning I went to go pick up this 2023, my local dealership texted me and said they just got a 2024 lariat hybrid in and they would do sticker + taxes/fees. I already had a deposit on this 2023 and honestly, it's optioned exactly as I would have ordered it minus the bed liner.

How do you find the dealership and employees at Albemarle Ford? I recently ordered a 2025 XLT hybrid with the copilot pkg. I dealt with the GSM by phone and the ordercwas immediately placed back in mid November. I wanted to add some other minor items but was told they could be dealer installed. I am eligible for X Plan pricing so would prefer to have the items factory installed to get the discount. As I understand it Dealer installed options can be priced at the dealers discretion. Anyway I have attempted numerous times via phone and email to follow up with him or another that can provide assistance but so far no response. The only communication o have had is from Fird itself so I know the order has been placed for an XLT hybrid in the color I want and with the copilot pkg. A few weeks later I received another note from Ford indicating the VIN number and that it is scheduled for production the week of Feb 10, 2025. Once again I tried unsuccessfully to communicate with the GSM with no response. My concern is that given no deposit was requested they may eventually get the vehicle on and sell it to someone else if they can get more for it. I'm thinking of contacting another dealership and placing an order with perhaps a more responsive dealership (if that is allowed) I'm case my order with Albemarle does not materialize.

Hello, I was wondering if you are satisfied with Albemarle Ford. I ordered a 2025 XLT last month. I did this over the phone and talked to a guy named Greg Hogan who identified himself as the general sales manager. He promptly placed an order on my behalf. I was not familiar with what options were available other than that I wanted a blue hybrid with the copilot package. He indicated the options could be ordered. He confirmed the x plan price would be honored.
Since talking with him I never have been able to follow up with him. He does not return calls or respond to emails. I sent him a list of options I wanted factory installed but I ce again no response. The only response I have received was from Ford once the order

Why not invest some time and drive on over to their location and actually speak to someone about the order?

It's not that far from uptown Charlotte....

I was thinking of doing that but figured there is a good chance that I would be told he is not available and there is no one else available to help (as I have been told in the past on the phone) I requested the owners name, who I was told is also the GM, and they would not provide the information.....and of course he was not available either. Really don't want to waste any more time with them spending an hour driving out and an hour back if this is one of those dealerships with zero integrity. I will just move on to another dealership that wants the business.

I just read some reviews of this dealership on cars.com....run, don't walk, away from this dealer.

Sounds like you've decided what is best for you. Good luck.
