Just got a Maverick!

I've been following news of the Maverick since seeing it at an auto show before it came out, and finally ordered a 2024 on July 18th. Hot Pepper Red XL with no other options. Local dealer took the order simple enough, same day got an email from Ford confirming. Over the next two weeks I was thinking I'm willing to wait on it, but then kept checking dealers, and just this week there was an XLT hybrid with a few options available (luxury package, rear window) that someone else backed out on after ordering. Drove up to Huntersville Ford (NC) immediately and made the deal. Like many other people, I don't need to two anything, and really like the idea of a daily driver truck hybrid. Just retired and moved to Rock Hill SC, glad to find this forum!

Welcome and congratulations on finding a Maverick you like so you can enjoy it while making up your mind if you might still want your first choice color next year! That’s what I ended up doing and I love my first choice color, Area 51! My ’22 was a CarbGray also. You’ll like the fact it doesn’t show dirt much except for the red clay

welcome to the Community and congrats on your new Mav!! i am no expert on Mav forums by any means, but i have found this site and the great majority of folks on it to be both incredibly helpful & extremely knowledgeable as well. nice looking truck, hope you enjoy yours as much as i am enjoying mine.
