I ordered a Cactus Gray XLT FWD with luxury package, moon roof and some other stuff last August. The order form with order # is signed. Went to dealer 2 months later to check on order and got a printout with my order but a different order #. Noticed that 2 days ago when I called customer support and was told my VIN #, production date(Oct 10) and delivery date/s. I wasn't expecting this since I had read somewhere if we didn't have a VIN # in earlier September, we were going to be (maybe) getting a 2023. She told me to get onto Ford order/tracker with this info, but it wouldn't process info. I called back and was again told same # and dates. They said it was alto blue--I said it wasn't. Told to check with dealer. Dealer said I didn't have a VIN. Yesterday the order/tracker opened with my info and I saw it did not have a moonroof, was alto blue and had co-pilot 360 which I did not order. Went by dealership today to see general or sales manager but both were out. I left note to call me about meeting tomorrow morning l want my truck but will now take almost anything although I will miss the moon roof and prefer my original color choice. I'm wondering if they messed up placing the order or placed someone else's order. Whose truck is this gonna be? What's up with the other order number? Should I go on and order a 2023? What should I expect the dealer to honor? I think it's going to be interesting. Thanks for any input. Pearl
