Ford Maverick JCR Interior Molle Panels - Thoughts? MVCCMP-1G_2_1024x682

Curious on everyone's thoughts about these interior Molle Panels. Looks like they're a fairly new product. I can see some practical uses like storing a spare knife, glass breaker, or seat belt cutter, mag, flashlight, etc. I actually really like the one that can fit on the upper underside of the interior console storage area. (Also useful for stashing your spare drumstick 😉)

Also interesting-while watching the installation vid for the one on the side center console I noticed they have one mounted to the empty space on the driver side door, but it hasn't been released yet. This one is very promising to me considering this location has less potential to rub/block you or a passenger's legs depending on what's mounted.

Regardless if these don't have a use case in your Mav setup, it's nice to see more and more accessories release!

Not for me. Truck has enough interior storage for my liking. Everything else goes in the bed in a bin.

One stays in there with tools/recovery gear and I have my other bins for camping (tent/sleeping bin and kitchen bin) when needed. Modularity is the name of the game for me.

It looks like they just used screws through the plastic? I certainly could see these being useful for mounting a bad-guy removal device. There's gotta be some form of velcro/tape to secure these instead of screws.

If I didn't have to drill and screw into factory plastic, I might think about getting some of these. Like if they found a way to use straps, or clips, or something that was non-destructive. But as it is, no thanks. I did check out their website, and they have a few other products for the Maverick that look interesting, though.

@bgn nowhere nice to mount a holster. These take care of that.
There is very little utility in having a holstered firearm attached to the interior of a vehicle, unless you're in dignitary protection/working in a non-permissive environment or you're so fastidious that you won't accidentally leave an unsecured weapon in a vehicle.

A majority of the recovered stolen handguns in my area were taken during a vehicle trespass/burglary.

If everyone was better about taking them inside, I'd say it was okay but they aren't. Hard to leave it in the car to get stolen if it's in a holster on your person. Just my .02

These things are mildly cringe and remind me of Jeep XJ owners that put these all over every surface lol.

Only idiots leave their firearms inside a vehicle unattended. I have a holster in every vehicle i own but as soon as i get out the firearm goes iwb.

You'd be surprised how many idiots walk among you.

I've taken a lot of reports from idiots in 20 years of LE and recovered many stolen guns that were taken during a vehicle trespass.

Thanks for being a responsible gun owner.

Appreciate it. Ive grown up around guns of all types, did 9 years in the Army, and am a member at our local gun range. I take yearly gun safety courses and self defense simulators just to keep my skills up to date.

My man. Appreciate your service!

I'm a POST firearms instructor, red dot instructor, etc. and use of force SME.

It gives me good vibes to know we have folks like you out there.

Be safe and hoorah! 🇺🇸
