I really like it. It looks great. How much are they asking for that? Is there any noticable reduction in engine noise? Probably not much, I'm guessing 😬

$199.00, not cheap but nice quality. I haven't noticed any sound difference. I have a Lariat and really don't hear the engine. But that may be age related. ;-)

Installed mine as well replacing the foam Ford cover…Very nice and a personal upgrade I was looking for despite the price. Added pictures to my build thread and agree with OP…no difference in engine road noise.

I have an update on this topic. I bought one of these JCR Off Road engine covers but it didn't fit. It appears my 2.0L has additional plumbing that the Maverick you have and the one they used for development doesn't have.

They have promised to figure out a solution.

Yet, I thought folks should look at their engine bay to determine whether or not their engine looks like mine or the one in the installation video ().

If you look closely, you will see how the rubber grommet on the end of the bracket (right side of the picture) fits over the silver ball on the bottom right of the image. Yet, the engine cover hits the hose assembly pictured. The hose assembly cannot be moved nor can the cover fit underneath it.

Here is a closer look at the engine area in my truck that is different than the one they used to develop the cover.

I look forward to seeing how they solve this problem.

Im about to pul the trigger on this.
Just bend that bad boy up a bit....The cover not the tube. Just slightly, it is aluminum and should take much. Be easy with it though don't crease it. Good luck.

I don't want to modify it since they might want me to return it for a different design. My concern about bending it up is how high it will stick up. If I bend it up, I estimate it will need to be bent down on the end (and flat over the tubing) to keep it from hitting the hood insulation.

I installed the aFe intake prior to mounting the JCR cover. The hose pushes against the cover during installation but can sit on top of it. I can see where it could be a problem.
