I'm a service tech. My area is about 120 miles radius so my daily drive is about 250 miles. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Sometimes alot more when I help the other guys in their areas another state over.

2022 Hybrid 109k miles and the brakes still have alot of life left. Just amazing!
I was getting my tires rotated at Discount Tires and I asked permission to go in there and check my brakes while the wheels were off.

Get used to this! When I sold my 2015 Prius, it had 83k miles on it and the brakes were had only worn down 40% (still a good 60% left).

One thing to be mindful of is corrosion on the rotors. Prius and other hybrids have had reports of unused disks getting aggressive rust causing deep pitting of the surface and rotor replacement sooner than normal. The recommendation is that you do one or two hard stops to engage the mechanical brakes once a day to knock of surface rust.

Live So cal, wasn't an issue. You should have seen my rotors as well.

You've never used the brakes so little.

If you like brake longevity never come north of the woodchucks. My buddy's RAV 4 hybrid 2 years old 45K brakes condemned upon inspection for a 1" rust line on one rotor on the inside. Pads great, rotor condemned.

This state is run by idiots.

BTW, It should be around 2047 when my Maverick hits 109K. :ROFLMAO:
