Certainly! Dessert Sand in color. I will definitely post!
My wife's Escape 2020 Hybrid had all kinds of battery issues and went into deep sleep, and I put it on a maintainer when she was not driving it for a week. Her 2024 Escape Hybrid has not had battery issues; I have put it on once for 24 hours a couple months ago and have not needed it since. Good luck and best wishes with your Maverick. Show some pix when you get it.

Did you buy an extended warranty for when your transmission fails? Based on the posts on here you will need it....

What a jerk post when OP is super excited about receiving their truck.

And OP - I have 8k miles on my 2025 and haven't used my battery tender once.
Exactly. Not one complaint or issue with my '25 either. It's unfortunate as this forum seems to be have people that only want to post sarcasm.

I got my 2023 Hybrid in August, 2023 after waiting a year. It was only a month or so after I got it that the first deep sleep appeared. They happened regularly after that. I eventually started putting my Mav on a battery saver once a week or so which took care of the deep sleeps. I got tired of having to do that so I bought a $120.00 AGM battery from Costco in Nov., 2024. Not one deep sleep event since then. Would be nice if Ford reimbursed me but I am not holding my breath.

Sorry if I was a "JERK" by suggesting the OP buy a battery tender. Glad you found a solution to your battery issue.
I have read all of this stuff. I do not believe you intended any harm with your advice. I honestly believe you wanted to be helpful by proactively informing the OP that he could be facing deep sleep issues that so many of us have been facing over the past few years. Some here seem to think you poured cold water on an excited and happy soon to be Mav owner. However I do not see any indication that OP's enthusiasm was affected by what you said.

worst part is that the member who made the jerk comment continues to double down and doesn’t realize their boorish behavior

Out of sheer impatience (personality flaw on my part), I went to the "Track My Order" website to check on the build of my '25 Maverick Lariat build (Hybrid AWD, scheduled to be built the week of 01 September). I know that often times one server is updated slightly before another, so I didn't want to wait for an email.

It showed that my truck is In Production! Very excited because it was ordered back in early June, and I've been driving my back-up vehicle (a Jeep) since. I've watched every video on YouTube. Read most of the posts here. Read the Service Manual. Bought and received the aftermarket accessories that are interesting to me. All that's missing is the Maverick.

But it's happening!

Sorry for the pointless post, but I'm ecstatic...
I ordered mine end of June, production set for 1st week of September like yours. I checked and mine is production now too. Super excited!

Not a jerk post, just light hearted ribbing. Everyone here knows the hybrids might have 12 volt battery issues, maybe not. I'll be carrying a jump pack and hiding a spare key in mine. I'm happy for the OP, let the adventure begin!

Congratulations! I'm actually in the exact same boat as you too. I also ordered a 25' Lariat Hybrid AWD (Azure Gray) though in late June and mine was also scheduled to be built the week of 01 September. I noticed on Tuesday that mine went into production. From all my research, it does seem they've been beginning a week early, though I opted for the 4k tow package and a spray in bed liner that I've read can add up to a week more because apparently the factory outsources it.

Like you, I'm also quite excited and can't wait to officially join the club!

P.S. I like your profile pic! :)

Thank you, Sir! A friend and fellow Beekeeper's wife works in stained glass. She made it as a thank you for my assistance in their beekeeping endeavor.

I am also waiting for both the spray in bed liner, and the 4k tow package, though I didn't know the latter was an off-site activity. I've learned something today!
