There's that hybrid smug rising up. Touched a nerve didn't I. I don't see constant threads about transmission failures on Ecoboosts. Glad you're angry!
Maybe read ALL of my replies to the OP before you get your hybrid panties in a wad. Also you might go to AMAZON and buy a sense of humor!
No you made a jerk comment and I called you out for it.

don’t try and gaslight and deflect.

OP is excited about their truck and first thing you do is tell him to get a battery tender because he’s going to have issues.

It was a jerk comment. That’s all.

Out of sheer impatience (personality flaw on my part), I went to the "Track My Order" website to check on the build of my '25 Maverick Lariat build (Hybrid AWD, scheduled to be built the week of 01 September). I know that often times one server is updated slightly before another, so I didn't want to wait for an email.

It showed that my truck is In Production! Very excited because it was ordered back in early June, and I've been driving my back-up vehicle (a Jeep) since. I've watched every video on YouTube. Read most of the posts here. Read the Service Manual. Bought and received the aftermarket accessories that are interesting to me. All that's missing is the Maverick.

But it's happening!
OH I remember the 7 months of waiting I went thru, 2022 ordered December 2021, and my family, friends and co-workers suffered the most EACH day. Congrats!!!!!
Ford Maverick It's Happening!!! TALKING ABOUT MY MAVERICK

Sorry for the pointless post, but I'm ecstatic...

I saw that, but no, I haven't ordered it yet. My garage is really a car-port and is un-powered. I'm not sure, yet, how to power the tender. I'd rather not run an extension cord... Texas weather often comes with its own electricity.
I have a 2024 XLT Hybrid with 21K miles. I have not had any issues with the batteries.

I wish when I ordered it was only a 3 month wait... I had almost a year to join and follow the forum, read the manual etc.

As for the extension cord you can do what I used to do - the cord started in the house and ended under the hood with the hood closed so the main parts of the cord and the charger were secured and kept out of the weather.

Correct me if I am wrong but the MY25 is not as prone to 12V battery issues is it?
We will have a much better idea on how the '25's are holding up 12v battery wise as we go into the Fall and Winter. Cold weather does accerbate the problem and it usually does take this long to manifest if your going to have one. Hopefully, everyone makes it through their first Winter.

I know my AGM was new but I’ve had mine since January and it saw plenty of winter. 8k miles not a single deep sleep message.

Yes, but even some folks who installed AGM batteries at their own expense, did start having problems as they got several months on them. I think, as @Darryl said: those trucks MFD after April should be better. Only time will tell.

Congratulations. Desert sand was my No. 2 choice. I have Cactus Grey as you can see. I like mine, plan on trading it around 90,000 miles -- probably for Desert Sand.

Congratulations!
I have a '24 XLT hybrid. Didn't realize when I bought it that its a plug in hybrid. I put it on my battery tender once a week.

You better do it soon! I think Desert Sand is going away for 2026.

Congrats! I have had my Lariat hybrid for just over 6 months and have a bit over 2000 miles on it, so I don't drive a lot. I have never had a low battery. I do have a combo jump starter and air compressor, just in case, because I might need to air up a tire. Enjoy your new Maverick when it gets here and don't let the stories scare you!

How big of a Ford apologist would one have to be to go to the expense of buying a generator just to power a battery tender to prevent an electrical problem a new vehicle shouldn't have in the first place? 🤣
Well...there are other uses for one. And besides, it might be cheaper than solar panels or running an extension cord from your neighbor....

Of course. I live in the same state as OP and went days without electricity or water in 2021, along with thousands of others. A generator would've been real handy.

I just thought it was an odd proposal as a solution to a specific Maverick problem that shouldn't exist and doesn't appear to be widespread on the newest trucks anyway.
