It's Getting Closer ...

My 2025 Maverick Lariat was built during the week of May 12. Canadians do not have the ability to track our orders other than to pester the sales rep. Ford Canada needs to change this ... please ... for all the future customers in Canada.

At least it's getting closer and sits in a rail yard in Illinois. It's due to arrive at the dealer by the end of next week or the following week. Then the dealer needs to do the PDI and finalize some options I added. Adding the options takes an extra day.

I already have a quad-fold tonneau cover and the tail gate shock waiting to be installed.

Looking forward to it. And, yes, I will post photos once I have it.

Thanks for the update. I hope you get it soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I think you will like it a whole lot better than the vehicle you are replacing. Don't get me wrong it's a nice truck but nowhere close to what the Maverick has to offer. Unless you need more than the 4000lb for towing. I'm also looking forward to comments on the new Maverick.

Yes we do! Canadians don't get emails for status changes, but the tracker 100% works with order number and VIN.

I received the sales order form shortly after I ordered and on there there is an order number (one or two letters followed by three or four numbers). About six weeks later, I followed up with my sales person and was informed the truck was scheduled to build, so received a VIN at that time. With those two, I used the tracker at https://www.ford.ca/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking?gnav=header-account to follow my truck from scheduled to delivered.

where are you guys getting the information on a "stop sale" for the 2025 Ford Maverick? I was aware of one for the 2024s but no news is showing up for the 2025s that I can find, only on this forum.

And, on a different note, I was not given a sales order number, a VIN nor signed any paperwork until the Maverick is delivered. The sales rep. told me it would be either end of this week (May 25) or the following week. If delayed, I'll have some accessories up for sale.

And, Illinois is far, far closer than Mexico is, so, yeah, close counts but not if there is a stop sale.

Hi,

I placed the order over the phone in February, 2025. I ordered all the options that I wanted since no one had in-stock inventory. It was built the week of May 12th. Last update was it was sitting in an Illinois railyard.

I have subsequently found out that the Ford stop sale notification does not include my build. I should be receiving it within the next two weeks. The dealer used one of their allotments when I ordered it. It's all a verbal agreement at this point.

Much better than the 9 months I waited to get my Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV on a pre-order scenario. For that one, I was told I'd have to wait 4 months but it kept getting delayed and delayed and ...

Hi It's a Leer HF650M. Search around until you find a company that sells them in Canada. I believe I used a company based in Quebec. Beware of increased costs due to tariffs. The difference between buying one in-stock vs having to order from the U.S.
