It's been fun! Went back to an F150.

I really liked my F-150 when I had it. Also liked my Dodge Ram short-cab Hemi, though it was about the thirstiest vehicle I ever owned. But I'm very happy with my Maverick. A Ranger sized truck is about as big as I'd go now days, given the size of garages today. And I do like keeping my truck in the garage.

If I were to start pulling a trailer of modest size regularly, I'd go with a Ranger. I'm not planning on ever towing anything big enough that I'd need a full sized truck.

That's a CB130CRD? Aren't they under 2700lbs empty. Maverick should be perfect for that. I tow a 3000lb jayco jay flight slx 170bh with my hybrid.

I'm going Ranger - just can't handle F150 size in many of our campsites. Would love the F150 ride on long drives, and larger fuel tank. Similar mpg as Ranger too!
Wanted towing tech and ground clearance. Ranger came out on top of a long, detailed review of options.
I would have chosen Ranger if it had a hybrid option.

23 F150 XLT Sport Package, trailer tow, 302A pkg Console, Heat seats, elec. sliding rear window, all the goodies. Plus honestly the cloth seats are way more comfortable than the Active X upholstery in the Mav's Lariat.

Thank you for the reply and the pictures.
You've got a very nice setup.

And a nice SAFETY MARGIN with the F-150 over the Maverick or Ranger.
Definitely worth the price for the family's sake.👍

I hear ya about the at the ActiveX seats.
Unless they are ventilated, even real leather sucks, when you're getting into a truck that's been sitting out in 110° heat and the surface of the seat seat is 190°.

Take care and safe travels.🤝

This is my scenario. Maybe a small load once in a while but no need for a Ranger or F150. I’m loving the hell out of my Mav hybrid gas mileage!
