It Finally Arrived!

Well it finally happen, after waiting since placing the order back in 7/24/21 my Maverick FE Hybrid finally arrived and I picked it up today from Capital Ford in Raleigh, NC. I ordered it from Chapman Ford of Horsham, PA and CD to Capital Ford. Chapman was true to their word, they gave me the price protected invoice price less 4% and I even got 0%/36 mo financing, with interest rates what they are today that is a good thing, free money for 3 years. Shaun Cecil from Capital Ford was great, he honored his quote of $250 for the CD. Now I get to enjoy the Maverick. It will take some of the pressure off my Bronco especially for running around town since the Bronco doesn't exactly get stellar gas mileage.

I have a similar order due for delivery in a month or less. Hopefully Chapman does the same deal for me. I'm hoping for 0% 36months, and that they honor the pricing they quoted me originally. August order here. Mostly commenting here to have something to reference if they get squirrelly.

It really depends on what incentives Ford was doing the month you ordered so you should be entitled to whatever Ford pricing and incentives were happening in Aug. Check your DORA and compare it with the price final price they give you. Thankfully they honored everything no problem for me.

I'd give them a gentle reminder when you truck comes in about price protection. The financing of course is base on if you qualify.

DORA stands for “Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement”. It's a document you should get from the dealer basically confirming the order was accepted by Ford and it will also list prices. I believe Chapman Ford is still doing the same deal, you can also check with Granger Ford, they were doing $3k under MSRP. If you search the forum you will find threads outlining both deals.

The Granger $3k deal was only for the last month of (EcoBoost) ordering and they've already said the '23 MY deal will be less aggressive than the 3% below invoice prior.

Since I already got my Maverick I haven't really kept up with the deals. But if you can get a Maverick for anything below MSRP you are doing pretty good...heck reading some of the threads getting a Maverick for MSRP is pretty good.
