First time a phone call is received it is garbled and cannot understand what is said.
Then when they call back, or I call back the second time, the call is fine and clear.
Other person who calls says it is garbled on there phone too so they cannot hear me as well.
A friend of mine has the same type of Maverick and says same thing happens to him. Anybody else experiencing this issue?

Definitely. I’m not very popular so it’s not much of an issue!

I think it is probably feedback from cell phone and maverick. If try switching Bluetooth signal without actually hanging up (?? I don't know how or if)

Hey there! I can look into your Maverick’s phone call concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Hey James,
I did a search for phone issues before posting and got no reference on this subject. Could you kindly pass more information on for me to research? I appreciate it. I am new to the site and may be overlooking information.
Thanks

Just picked up my maverick yesterday, I have a similar issue. First call can't hear anything. 2nd call is very good. Sigh.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I have had my Maverick Lariat since January 2023 and I am consistently having garbled calls over Bluetooth. Has anyone found a fix besides dropping the call and trying again?

Update: A Ford Rep reached out to open a case for me. Not confident of out come as I have had cases with Ford that went nowhere. But if they do fix the issue I will be back to share
the results. Good or bad.

For a year, I could not hear nor be heard in my F-150 if someone called me. If I called them, everything was fine. I finally found the fix. This may not be your same issue. In my F-150, apparently the issue is that if the truck uses a ringtone, it cuts out audio to your phone. The solution is to go into settings on the Sync menu in the truck and navigate to ringtone and select "Use phone's ringtone". Selecting any of the truck's ringtones does not fix the problem. Anyway, it took me a year before I finally got lucky and found that one post out there that had the solution. So, I'm sharing it.

No audio on incoming telephone calls?
Change from Truck ringtone to "Use Phone's Ringtone"

Don't have any issues with Android Auto and phone calls. Better than the Bluetooth.
