Been driving my F250 since 2021. 62,000 miles...... No chips or cracks. My 2024 Mav in 25,000 miles has 4 hits and I sealed them all myself with the Rain-X kit. Probably get it replaced if I get a couple more. None have spread to cracks. Still just the impact hit/hole....which allowed them to seal and hold. Is it because I'm lower to the road in the Mav?? I also have WAY too many tiny paint chips on this Mav that I don't have on the 250. Same roads...same type of driving......So...the answer to the OP's question.....Maybe????

Getting 2nd windshield replacement for the Maverick in 2.5 years this week. Whole rest of my life driving (I’m 55) I’ve replaced one windshield.

Have driven vehicles for over 60 years and never had to replace a windshield. I'm now on the 3rd windshield with my Maverick. Are they more susceptible to cracking? Or has my luck run out!

I agree, it does seem thin and poor quality. I am getting chips much more than any other vehicles I've owned. When the light shines on it, i notice a crackling on the surface.

Nope. F250 and F150. Slowly getting smaller.

Put a Maverick nose to nose with a F-series, you can see the Maverick windshield has a more upright angle, as well as being much closer to the road.

I've recently purchased a 2023 Maverick Hybrid Lariat FWD (my first truck). I bought it with a repaired crack, but caught another crack this morning.

Pardon my ignorance, would a hood deflector offer any value? I suspect they aren't tall enough to introduce an aerodynamic change, but I thought I would ask. Thanks!

I have 2023 Hybrid that I got in October of 23. I just got my second windshield replaced. I knew from following the forums that windshield was an issue. So I bought the warranty that the dealership had that covered wheels, paintless dent repair and windshield. it was 1300.00 for 7 years. Today, the guy at safelite told me that my 2nd windshield would have been 1250.00... Guess I was smart to get that warranty!
