Build date but no email from Ford. Is this normal?

Recived a call from my salesman from Rockwall Ford (Dallas Texas area) on thrusday afternoon. He said that he received a build date notification for my Mav lariat Lux, hybrid for Jun 20th. I have received 3 emails in the past.
(1) was the order received in Sep
(2) the free fits accessory in Oct
(3) experiencing delays in Mar
4 days now since the dealer said I now have a build date but no email from Ford is the is normal?

Yes, and the emails are not necessarily up to date either. For latest info contact Ford Chat.

I ordered August 19, 2021, received notice of a build week a couple of months ago, and this evening I received my "Your Vehicle Has Been Built" email. Niiiiiice.
So, now the estimated delivery date in SE Michigan is late May. It's getting close but I have to just force myself to not think about it too much or the next 4 weeks will feel like 6 months.
I'm in a small town so most folks I know have never seen one up close, so I have a long list of people who want to get a ride in it.

Here is an example of items not being up to date. We picked up our Maverick 6 days ago.
On the tracker it’s still listed as being shipped.

Placed my Hybrid XLT Lux order last July 24. No emails so far on any topic, ever. I have a build date of May 23, finally. No call from my dealer (Five Star Ford in Dallas). I've had to chase down everything myself. It's looking like I will get the truck I ordered roughly 11 months after I ordered it...if I'm ever told when it's delivered.

What's more, the vehicle order tracking site shows my VIN and order, but no build date or window sticker yet...even though I got the VIN from Ford Marketing about three weeks ago.

This is the single most frustrating car purchase...ever. Really hope it's worth it.

I found my build week through Ford Chat. Three weeks later, I got the email.
So your experience is "the new normal" since they changed their email notification policy.

My build week has since been pushed a week. Got that email Friday before last.

At least you know your order is going to be built. Best to relax now cause further fretting will just make you crazy.

I sure hope my truck shows up earlier than expected. It has been a little weird - sunday I got a "Your vehicle is built" email, and then this morning I got a "shipped" email, although the est arrival date is still May 27 to June 2....
This has been like 8 months of foreplay!

During 6 months of waiting I had 3 total emails from Ford and my Dealer. This is typical for both.

Yes, no emails, so I called Ford CS today and got a VIN and a prod date. Ordered 7/31/22
