This seems so simple and I’ve looked in the manual and have found nothing. When I open the doors I have no interior lighting.

1) Rocker switch is in the middle

2) Rocker switch to the left turns on the lights and to the right turns them off.

3) Pressing the lights will turn them on and off.

edit 4) Push button to on for accessory power and lights come on.

edit 5) If the car is on and I open the doors the lights go on. Door still open and car is turned off the lights fade off.

Any ideas what happened?0

The lights will not turn on when you open the doors if the truck is in Deep Sleep mode.

Not sure if you are referring to the interior ambient lighting. Saw something on this in Owners Manual Page 99.

Currently, I have not issues on my FE.

Interesting, but I don’t think this is that. When I get home from driving there is no lighting when I open the doors.

Yes, but manual didn’t show anything helpful that I saw.

That would eliminate Deep Sleep mode.

Just checked inside my FE. I had an experience where the rear seat interior light would not go off after my big dog hit his head on it. Found the cover & switch clearance is very tight.

Once I fixed it, it took 30 seconds to cycle off (from the setting). I double checked it using the on/off switchES between the front interior lights. Just want to double check with you if you used these switches, not the lights.

SWITCHING ALL OF THE INTERIOR LAMPS ON AND OFF

The lamps turn on under the following conditions:
* You open any door.
* You press a button on the remote control.
* You press the all lamps on button on the overhead console.

If you switch the all lamps switch button on the overhead console to the off position, the interior lights will not illuminate when the doors are opened. That switch is located between the two white lamps on the overhead console.

This happened to me also last night. Truck sat at the airport for a week and NO interior lights come on last night at 10pm. Drove an hr to get home from the airport. Just went out and checked today and they all come on now. No changes to anything. Cig lighter volt meter still said 14.6+ running and 12.2+ just sitting without engine on.

Rocker switch is in middle position, lights will not illuminate with door or remote buttons.

Is there a dimmer on this? Had a car once that had no interior lights and the issue was the dimmer roller was all the way down. Lights were coming on, but dimmer was below the level where they were would work.
Just a thought.

Just logged into Ford Pass and I see this. I am guessing this is my problem. Not sure why this is happening yet

Apparently not lol, see message above this one.
It is very surprising that after driving your vehicle, that it remained in Deep Sleep mode.
